We offer the following yoga classes. Please refer to our class schedule
for more information.
- All Levels Yoga
Learn the basics of yoga principles and poses (asana) in a safe and supportive environment.
Great for those who are new to yoga as well as experienced students seeking a gentle alternative
and a more relaxing pace. Classes include yoga breathing (pranyama), warm-up, basic postures and
deep relaxation. Particular focus on proper alignment and connecting with the breath.
- Morning Yoga
A class for all levels. Awaken body, mind, and spirit for the day ahead with this playful and
wide-ranging yoga class. Through breath work, yoga poses that encourage both stretching and
strengthening, and meditation, students can let go of stress and let their inner spirit smile!
- Gentle Evening Yoga
A gentle class focusing on breath and nourishing movements. The slow pace of the class allows students time
to focus on the inner power of Yoga to release and strengthen. The class ends
with relaxation and meditation.
- Embodiment Flow Yoga
Embodiment Yoga is an ongoing exploration of traditional yogic principals with an emphasis on exciting asana practice as well as the sometimes more illusive aspects of the other 7 limbs of classic yoga study.
Join me, as we journey together through breath work, mindfulness, principled center living, and most importantly, as we learn to live an off the matt yogic life!
Let the light breath through you! Embody your yoga!
- Level I (Iyengar style)
This class introduces beginning students and students new to the Iyengar approach to the fundamentals of posture and breath. The class is also suitable for new or continuing students who, due to stiffness, lack of strength, or other limitations, would benefit from working with props.
There is strong emphasis on form and alignment in the poses and as well as specially sequenced active energetic poses with passive restorative poses.
- Qigong
Qigong helps you to cultivate your energy for greater health and clarity of body, mind and spirit
by moving blocked energy in the body. You will feel connected to your body and surroundings
as functions of the brain, immune, digestive and reproductive systems are enhanced. A sense
of wellbeing and peacefulness are among the many benefits.
