Exercises of Daily Power:

According to Western Esoteric Studies, the Recording Angels give us information relative to our spiritual growth in each stage of our soul's development. Man has reached a turning point in evolution where he has evolved into an independent being with a conscious ego. This is a crucial time in our evolution. As our growing soul expands outward we become more susceptible to diverse energies of different origins, which can create problems of dangerous magnitudes. For our personal protection we have been given two simple exercises to strengthen our energy and auras; and, eliminate karmic debt as we move along our soulÕs journey. These exercises build a protective shield in our aura and plant our feet firmly on the evolving upward spiral path to Light.

The small amount of time these two exercises take reap great rewards. Blessings will bloom along your path as you experience the mystical wonders of Spiritual insights.

The Evening Exercise:

Every evening upon retiring review the day beginning from the last event to the earliest morning activities, reviewing the day in the "reverse order". As you review the activities with detachment, discern if you did the very best you could have done; and, feel remorse for any shortcomings and oversights you have made. Fill your heart and mind with regret and resolve to make amends and/or improve kindness and awareness.

Also, acknowledge the positive activities/actions you accomplished and accept the credit. Let the positive feeling of these accomplishments sink into your being and flow into your aura creating luminosity.

The Morning Exercise:

Every morning at the first sign of awakening lie very still in bed, and for 5 minutes recite a prayer or verse. Then release the prayer/verse into the quiet of the morning. In time insights and drops of wisdom will come to you and your countenance begins to shine. Use any uplifting spiritual prayer/verse that speaks to you and takes you beyond the ordinary things of sense for the optimum development of concentration and insights.

A highly recommended verse is John 1-5. Taking each sentence and slowly letting the words sink into your consciousness. Repeating this verse morning after morning, will in time fill your mind with wonders of the beginning of creation.

John 1-5: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God." The Same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Or another example:
God is light. If we walk in the Light, we will have fellowship One with Another.

** The importance of the reverse review of daily activities directly reflects the pattern of The Life Review experience we have as we pass out of the physical on our journey to the Spiritual World Ð as above, so below. We are correcting and eliminating our karma debt before we leave, thus shortening the time spent in purgatory (cleansing) before we move on to the first heaven.

Word alone can be a misrepresentation of meaning as John used the words "in arche" and "Logos", giving a broader translation. Word also being the logical thought behind the actual word. Before a word can come into existence there must be a thinker; therefore, in the beginning was a homogeneous thinking mass of matter and this matter was God and God became the rhythmic sound, or word, that continually and endlessly is flowing outward creating all.
